One of the smallest parts in Turkey is the Southeast Anatolia. This is geographically region that represents  9.7% of the total area of Turkey. These cities on the map shown below are ancient cities in Turkey. The Southeast Anatolia is the only region in Turkey that produces oil.

Chapter: 9 Turkey's History

In this post I decided to switch things up a little bit. Few days ago it was April 24. Ninety eight years ago, on April 24, 1915 Ottoman Empire decided to kill all the Armenians in Armenia and take away their land. The reason why I am blogging this post is because the Ottoman Empire took away many lands that belonged to the Armenians. I think that this relates to geography because it is about most of the geographies that Turkey has which at one point belonged to the Armenians. The genocide that happened 98 years ago, killed about 1.5 million Armenians. I  do not blame the Turkish generation today for the killings of that many Armenians, however it is their aunt sisters who have done the damage and took away the land and geographies that belonged to the Armenians. The only thing we ask for is for the genocide to be recognized.
Down below is a image of dead Armenians on the floor and the Turkish military standing above their heads.

Chapter: 8 Eurpoe is Related to Turkey

Turkey is a very fashion forwad country in many ways and at the same time it is a very held back. Turkey is a very fashion forward country becuase they have most of their clothing coming from Europe. Europe is close to Turkey they are like next door neighbors. Europe is known to be one of the biggest fashion forward countries and district. Most of our big designers are established in Europe. Being very close to Europe, Turkey has the great advantage of being introduced to the European fashion before any other country.
Being so close to each other and having access to new clothing lines and etc. Turkey still has many people who choose to not take advantage of this. Most of the Turkish people still walk around with headscarf's and wear long dresses to cover almost all of their body parts. Most of the Turkish population chooses to dress like this because they feel that if  they don't they bring dishoner to their culture, religion, and family. It is mostly women who have to suffer and follow these "rules", and if they dont depending on the family and how modern they are it will bring nothing but, bad to the women of turkey.
Down below I have provided two pictures of the fashion in Turkey. One of the pictures show a modern sight of fahion and the other shows a women in a headscarf.
