One of the smallest parts in Turkey is the Southeast Anatolia. This is geographically region that represents  9.7% of the total area of Turkey. These cities on the map shown below are ancient cities in Turkey. The Southeast Anatolia is the only region in Turkey that produces oil.

Chapter: 9 Turkey's History

In this post I decided to switch things up a little bit. Few days ago it was April 24. Ninety eight years ago, on April 24, 1915 Ottoman Empire decided to kill all the Armenians in Armenia and take away their land. The reason why I am blogging this post is because the Ottoman Empire took away many lands that belonged to the Armenians. I think that this relates to geography because it is about most of the geographies that Turkey has which at one point belonged to the Armenians. The genocide that happened 98 years ago, killed about 1.5 million Armenians. I  do not blame the Turkish generation today for the killings of that many Armenians, however it is their aunt sisters who have done the damage and took away the land and geographies that belonged to the Armenians. The only thing we ask for is for the genocide to be recognized.
Down below is a image of dead Armenians on the floor and the Turkish military standing above their heads.

Chapter: 8 Eurpoe is Related to Turkey

Turkey is a very fashion forwad country in many ways and at the same time it is a very held back. Turkey is a very fashion forward country becuase they have most of their clothing coming from Europe. Europe is close to Turkey they are like next door neighbors. Europe is known to be one of the biggest fashion forward countries and district. Most of our big designers are established in Europe. Being very close to Europe, Turkey has the great advantage of being introduced to the European fashion before any other country.
Being so close to each other and having access to new clothing lines and etc. Turkey still has many people who choose to not take advantage of this. Most of the Turkish people still walk around with headscarf's and wear long dresses to cover almost all of their body parts. Most of the Turkish population chooses to dress like this because they feel that if  they don't they bring dishoner to their culture, religion, and family. It is mostly women who have to suffer and follow these "rules", and if they dont depending on the family and how modern they are it will bring nothing but, bad to the women of turkey.
Down below I have provided two pictures of the fashion in Turkey. One of the pictures show a modern sight of fahion and the other shows a women in a headscarf.

Chapter: 7 South to the North of Turkey

From South all the way to North of Turkey is covered with sea's. Some of the oceans are the Black Sea, Sea of Marmara,  Aegean Sea, and the Mediterranean Sea. The Black Sea is known to have warm water during the summer and  cold water during the winter. This causes very low life in the ocean. The Sea of Marmara is known to have many marbles. The Aegean Sea brought many issues between Turkey and Greece.  The Mediterranean Sea borders from west to east from Spain, France, Monaco, Italy, Malta, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosina, and many other regions.

Chapter: 6 Vacationing In Turkey

Turkey has many beautiful sights to offer to tourist. Turkey is known for its majority of land being on the sea. I have Turkish heritage and also have few television channels. I always see the beautiful sights and land that the country is made of.  When I visit Turkey one day my goal is to go to Istanbul and shop at the outstanding stores and go to the beautiful beaches. One place that i would live to visit is Topkapi Palace. The Topkapi Palace in Turkey was the home of the Ottoman Sultans, about 400 years ago. The Topkapi Palace is now being used as a museum. Here is a photo of the Topkapi Palace.

Chapter 5: Settlement & Migration

During the 1960's to 1970's Turkey is known to be a emigration country. Most of the Turkish people would migrate to the European countries, mostly west Germany. Most of  the people would migrate due to reuniting with their family, job opportunities, and better school. Most of the people would migrate to different countries because they didn't like the the government that they have to obey. Other than Turks migrating to other countries, many outsiders would emigrate to Turkey. One major component that help the population increase in Turkey is the amount of people who would migrate to Turkey. Down below is a image of a graph showing the statistic's of migration.

Chapter 4: Cultural Coherence

The Turkish culture of  a huge role in the lives of  the people. Most of the citizens in Turkey have to obey the "tore". The "tore" is described as semi law that most individuals in Anatolia, Turkey follow. For an example if the tore says you have to marry a certain person they the individual has to obey the tore , other wise they will be punished or killed. The reason why I have explained the Tore is because most of the citizens in Turkey have to obey it. The Turkish cultural has it's up's and downs.  I would say most of the population in Turkey are not modern. For example, the headscarf issue. If most girls do not wear their headscarf they will be punished, or they will be called names and the public will think that they are not be loyal to their gods. The beliefs that the Turkish society has is the eye. The eye is known to protect people from the evil thoughts and eye. Most of the people in Turkey have the on their bracelet, or they hang it from their wall. The people believe that the eye can prevent bad things from happening.
Other than the material that I have spoken of above, the Turkish society also has its goods to offer. One of my favorites are the music. The music in Turkish is just so wonderful to listen to. Their fashion is another. Some parts of Turkey such as Istanbul, are very fashion forward. They wear beautiful clothing and shoes. Another thing that is very outstanding about the Turkish cultural is their food. The food in Turkey is very delicious and tasty. Another thing that the Turkish society has to offer and most of the Middle Eastern benefits off of is the coffee.   I would love to visit Turkey one day and see many of the beautiful sights it has to offer. Down below i have provided some images regarding my information about Turkey.
